Where PlayTime Scheduler is ahead

PlayTime Scheduler is not only a board of sessions. Its upgrade page also lists saved player lists, group chat, wait lists and round robins. These are the places it does more than PickleCrew today.

  • PlayTime Scheduler. It lists every public session in a region and lets you hop between regions. PickleCrew's open play board only matches text on a court field.
  • PlayTime Scheduler. It notifies a whole region about new sessions, by zip code. PickleCrew notifies the members of a crew.
  • PlayTime Scheduler. It says it syncs official DUPR ratings and runs DUPR sessions. PickleCrew keeps its own rating and does not read DUPR.
  • PlayTime Scheduler. It lists saving events to iCal and Google calendars. PickleCrew has no calendar export.
  • PlayTime Scheduler. Its round robins list live scoring entered by the players, up to 48 players, and results export.
  • PlayTime Scheduler. It publishes its prices, so you can see what the paid tiers cost before you sign up.

What it costs

PlayTime Scheduler's website lists a free account, Premium at $25 a year and Power at $35 a year. Its App Store listing shows in-app purchases at $29.99 and $39.99, so the price you see depends on where you buy. PickleCrew has no paid plan today.

Where PickleCrew is different

A PickleCrew crew keeps its members, schedule, chat, rating history and leaderboard together, and runs competitions such as king of the court, gauntlet nights and single elimination for the same people. If you play with the same group every week, that continuity is the reason to pick it.

Where PickleCrew falls short today

PickleCrew does not collect payments, book courts, export to a calendar or send game-time reminders. It is a web app that works on phones. Its rating is its own, and it does not read DUPR ratings. Its open play board matches text on a court field and has no distance search. There is no paid plan today.

What we checked, and when

We read PlayTime Scheduler's learn more, upgrade and rating pages and its App Store listing on November 3, 2026. Its upgrade page shows which plan has each feature with coloured tick images, not text, so where a feature is for paying users we say it is on a paid plan and do not name the tier. PickleCrew's cells cite the app's code, read the same day.
