Best pickleball apps for organizers (2026)
PickleCrew makes one of these four apps, so read this as a competitor's page. Every cell shows where we read it and when.
Which app should a pickleball organizer use?
It depends on the job. TeamReach says it is always free for any team. BenchApp lists online payments. PlayTime Scheduler helps players find sessions across a region and runs DUPR sessions. PickleCrew, which we make, suits one standing crew that wants ratings and a leaderboard. The matrix below sources every claim.
The rule for who is here: an app is in if it schedules sessions or games for a group, names pickleball on its own site or listing, and has a public page we could read. PickleCrew passes by the same rule, and it is a competitor on this page.

How we picked these four apps
We wrote the rule before we filled in any cell. PickleCrew meets it on the same terms as the others. That is why it is a column, and why you should weigh our own cells with extra care.
Apps built only for tournament brackets, or only to supply ratings, do a different job, so they are not columns. DUPR supplies ratings and does not schedule your sessions, so it appears only in the ratings row. We have not read the pages of other scheduling apps yet, and a column of guesses would be worse than no column.
The columns are in alphabetical order with PickleCrew last. Nothing here is scored or ranked.

Where each app is ahead
Each point below is a sourced cell in the matrix, and each is a place where the app does something PickleCrew does not, or does it differently.
- BenchApp. Players pay online and the money deposits to the organizer, with automatic nudges for overdue players. PickleCrew collects no payments.
- BenchApp. It sends automatic email and text reminders before each game. PickleCrew sends no game-time reminders.
- BenchApp. It lists a free plan that includes rosters and scheduling, and a $9 a month PRO plan.
- PlayTime Scheduler. It lists every public session in a region and lets you hop between regions. PickleCrew's open play board only matches text on a court field.
- PlayTime Scheduler. It notifies a whole region about new sessions, by zip code. PickleCrew notifies the members of a crew.
- PlayTime Scheduler. It says it syncs official DUPR ratings and runs DUPR sessions. PickleCrew keeps its own rating and does not read DUPR.
- TeamReach. It says it is always free to use. PickleCrew has no paid plan today but makes no promise about the future.
- TeamReach. It has iPhone and Android apps and a desktop login. PickleCrew is a web app that works on phones.
- TeamReach. Messaging is its centre, and it covers every kind of team, so one app can hold a pickleball group and the rest of your sports.
If you already use TeamReach
TeamReach is a general team app, not a pickleball one, and many groups use it well. It says it is free to use, manages many groups from one app, runs on iPhone and Android with a desktop login, and gives each group a join code. Its listing says waitlists and reminders can be automated. If your group already lives there and you only need schedules, RSVPs and messages, there may be no reason to move.
PickleCrew is built for pickleball, so a crew keeps a rating history, a leaderboard and competition formats such as round robin and king of the court. We did not find those on TeamReach's pages. PickleCrew is a web app, has no paid plan today, and sends no game-time reminders.
Where PickleCrew falls short today
PickleCrew does not collect payments, book courts, export to a calendar or send game-time reminders. It is a web app that works on phones. Its rating is its own, and it does not read DUPR ratings. Its open play board matches text on a court field and has no distance search. There is no paid plan today.
What we checked, and when
We read each competitor's own pages and store listing on November 3, 2026, and every cell shows its source. PickleCrew's cells cite the app's code, read the same day. Nothing comes from reviews, forums or other comparison sites.
PickleCrew's own cells come from the app's code, and the source log behind this page keeps the files and searches. How we check our guides is on how these guides are made.
PickleCrew is not affiliated with or endorsed by BenchApp, PlayTime Scheduler or TeamReach. Their names are used only to say which product a cell describes.
